I’ve had the privilege of visiting Cyprus over ten times. Last night I got a bit nostalgic thinking about all the happy memories from my time on the island. Especially at Mayfair Gardens Apartments in Paphos.
So I thought that I would review the Mayfair Gardens Apartments in Paphos since I have stayed there on six occasions in total. The first time being in 1994 on a family holiday. I have to say that is a superb hotel, and I have loved every single visit there.
Self-catering room at Mayfair Gardens Apartments
Last year we stayed in a two bedroom apartment at the front of Mayfair Gardens Apartments. It was a self-catering unit which meant that we had the option of cooking our own food if we wanted. This was useful as there is a big supermarket located near the hotel. As well as a number of bakeries selling delicious fresh bread.
Everything at Mayfair Gardens Apartments was very presentable with the rooms being cleaned thoroughly five times a week.
Mayfair Gardens Apartments swimming pools, food and entertainment
There are two swimming pools at the hotel with plenty of sunbeds around. The entertainment was varied at the hotel with a mix of poolside entertainment, live music or karaoke. The bar and restaurant also had a good choice of food and drink. We enjoyed having our pint of Keo beer there during happy hour.
Location and the staff at the Mayfair Gardens Apartments
We always noticed that staff were happy to render assistance or to give advice to us on the local area. It’s conveniently located too as its a nice 15-minute walk to the harbour or the old town of Paphos.
To those thinking of booking a visit, then I would say – book. The Mayfair Gardens Apartments is definitely not the Ritz but it’s a place that can provide you with many happy memories.
